Voice consent
Family voices are intimate. Use Patchwork voice cloning only with clear adult consent and a narrow bedtime-story purpose.
Before recording
- Only upload a voice recording when you have permission from the person being recorded.
- Do not upload a child voice sample.
- Do not upload a recording taken from calls, videos, voicemails, social media, or another source without clear permission.
- Tell the person that their recording may be used to create narrated bedtime stories inside your Patchwork account.
- Delete a voice profile if the person withdraws consent or if you no longer need it.
Retention and deletion
Raw voice recordings are deleted after clone processing succeeds or fails. The generated voice profile can be deleted from the voice page, and future private storage work remains a launch-hardening requirement before broad family rollout.
